About The Tournament Weekend

Join us for the Sixth Annual Austin Classico in conjunction with the Austin Men's Soccer League and the Austin Coed Soccer Association. The tournament will be 7v7 play and there will be divisions for every ability. Men's, Women's and Coed Open and B as well as Over 30's and Over 40's divsions will be available. Join us for our newest tournament, the Austin Classico! This soccer tournament will take place on Saturday, January 9. If this is your first time playing Soccer Resort check out the photos from last year's tournament.

Soccer Tournament Details

We expect a large turn out for our 5th annual tournament with teams from many leagues across the Austin area and even some out of towners joining us from California and the East Coast - we promise to make them behave nice and Austin style mannerly.

The Tournament is played at the new Multi Purpose Sports Complex in Round Rock ; just a short 25 min ride from Downtown Austin. The tournament will begin at 8am and run until about 5pm.

* 7 v 7 play
* Four games guaranteed, more if you make playoffs
* 30 minute games
* Coed, Men's, Women's and Over 30/40 divisions
* Coed is 4 men and;3 women in play)
* Complimentary souvenir jerseys for travel teams

* Cups and champagne for winners and trophies for the runner-ups

Tournament Prizes

For out of town teams, Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not  actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel  tournament. We do not pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments.

For out of town teams, coming in Austin is a big up and coming city with a thriving live music, over 250 live music venues, and restaurant scene. There's something for everyone to love when visiting Austin. Whether you want to go Downtown to the Warehouse District and catch some live local music or hit one of the amazing restaurants or you're sure to not be at a loss for entertainment.
