Soccer Tournament Details

We expect an excellent turn out for New York following the success of last years event. Teams from leagues all across the United States, Canada and Europe will be represented. We'll have FREE BEER thanks to Hofbrau and Dinkelacker. The tournament will be played on Randall's Island in Brooklyn, NY. On the soccer side you get:     * 7v7 soccer against classy opposition     * Four games guaranteed     * 30 minutes per game     * Complimentary souvenir jerseys for travel teams     * FREE Beer post tournament     * Soccer travel prizes galore     * Cups for the winners and Trophies for the runners-up         * There will be two Coed divisions with 4 men and 3 women on each team. Tournament Prizes

Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not  actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel  tournament. We do not pretend it is like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments.

Things to do

There is a ton to do in New York City! Take a walk through the famous Central Park and then onto 5th avenue for some high class (window?) shopping. From there hop on the train down to Times Square to catch a Broadway play. Then jump in a cab and head to little Italy for a bite of Italian cuisine that almost makes you forget which continent youÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??re actually on. The point is that not only are the options numerous and diverse but they are all incredibly accessible in New York. ThereÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??s a reason people say New Yorkers walk every where; it is because itÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??s easily done.   New York is also called the city that never sleeps, and that too is true. In New York the night isnÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??t over until the sun is up. With so much to do in order to take it all in there is good reason why the city has a bar on nearly every block and a number of excellent night clubs. Whatever it is you decide to do donÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??t hesitate to ask us for advice, weÃ??????Ã?????Ã????Ã???Ã??Ã?¢??ve been around this city long enough to know most of its ins and outs.
