About The Tournament Weekend
Our Boston tournament is almost sold out. We are closing registration on Monday afternoon, July 20, due to the event being almost oversubscribed. If you are interested in playing in this tournament, please register online as soon as possible or call 718 433 2452.
Join us for our 7th annual Boston Classic on July 25 for an 8v8 soccer tournament. Boston is one of the countries most historic cities and we’ve been more than happy to add ourselves to it over the last few years. Take a trip through history and add to your own while enjoying the city of Boston.
Win at either our NYC, Boston or DC tournament this summer and we’ll give you $100 off entry to our brand new Atlantic City Beach Soccer Tournament on August 15 this year. You’ve won at home, now take the team on the road and play against the best teams from the East Coast.
We’ll be staying at the The Royal Sonesta Hotel which is located right on the bank of the Charles River, with an impressive view of the Boston skyline. Prices for the Boston tournament start at $219.

The Soccer Resort is extremely excited to have local teams join our national series of tournaments. Play, yell, compete, or shake hands against teams from all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, and overseas – after-all it’s nice to play against some new teams. And if you win a top or consolation division, you’ll win up to $1000 of credit towards one of our travel tournaments, such as Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Miami South Beach, Hawaii, Iceland, Ireland, or London.

Soccer Tournament Details
We expect a large turn out again in 2009 following the success of our last visit to Boston in 2008 with teams from leagues all across the United States and Canada joining us.
The tournament will be taking place on great turf fields in Lexington, MA. On the soccer side you get:
- 8v8 soccer against classy opposition
- Four games guaranteed
- 30 minutes per game
- Complimentary souvenir jerseys for travel teams
- Soccer travel prizes galore
- Trophies for the winners and medals for the runners-up
Registration fee is $399 for Mass, Vermont, New Hampshire teams. Travel teams outside these states are eligible for cheap Hotel and Tournament packages.
Early Bird closes June 24 and the price increases by $50. The absolute closing date for registration is July 22.
- There will be two Coed divisions with 4 men and 4 women on the field. You can have more women, but not more men.

There will be four Men's divisions - Men's OPEN, Men's B, Men's Over 30's and Masters.There will be 3 Women's Divisions - A and B, and over 30's. The field locations is Lincoln Park in Lexington, MA

Tournament Prizes
Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel tournament. We don;t pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments. More info

Things to do
Boston’s a city steeped in history, but it’s also got a lot going for it in the present, not just the past. It’s got one of the biggest bar and brewery scenes in the nation which gives it a traditional night life that’s worth going back to. Take a modern spin on the 2.5 mile Freedom trail and see if you can make it through all the bars you pass along the way. For those Yankee fans among us you might want to go under cover and watch a baseball game at Fenway Park. There are also whale watching and deep sea fishing trips to be considered, in addition to plenty of golf courses for you to choose from.

Tournament Hotel for Weekend
We’ll be staying at the Royal Sonesta Hotel which, located minutes away from Boston’s financial district on the banks of Charles River and boasts an impressive view of the Boston skyline from across the river, which is best enjoyed on the hotel’s patio bar. The hotel pool is one of the largest around and is housed under an atrium style retractable roof and overlooks the Charles River. Heated at 82 degrees year round it’s a pleasure to jump right in at any point of the year.
The hotel also has a very impressive art collection that can be seen all throughout the hotel. Some of which can be found in each of the Sonesta’s fine dining restaurants. Both restaurants adhere to the Sonesta philosophy of ‘Food is Art’ and as such you’ll be ensured quite the treat if you choose to dine at the hotel.
