About The Tournament Weekend
Join us for our fourth annual Toronto tournament on Saturday, May 9, 2009. Take advantage of our neighbor to the North and enjoy all that Toronto has to offer. Being the largest city in Canada, and the fifth largest in all of North America ensures that there is plenty to do regardless of your tastes. Aside from being fantastic city full of museums, restaurants and a vast array of different cultures on display Toronto also has the great Canadian wilderness to explore only miles from the city limits. Prices start as low as $199 for 3 days and 2 nights in Toronto.
The Soccer Resort is extremely excited to have local teams join our national series of tournaments. Play, yell, compete, or shake hands against teams from all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, and overseas – after-all it’s nice to play against some new teams. And if you win a top or consolation division, you’ll win up to $1000 of credit towards one of our travel tournaments, such as Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Miami South Beach, Hawaii, Iceland, Ireland, or London.
For local teams, it's a steal - just $32 a player on a 14 man roster - where else would you get a full day's entertainment for so little!

Soccer Tournament Details
We expect a good turn out again in 2009 following the success of last years tournament. We expect teams from leagues all across the United States and Canada join us again and even expect a few European sides to take part as well.
The tournament will be played on great field turf fields located only 20 minutes away from our hotel. On the soccer side you get:

7v7 soccer against classy opposition

At least four games guaranteed on Saturday.

30 minutes per game

Tournament Prizes
Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel tournament. We don;t pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments. More info

Spend your days exploring all that Toronto has to offer, from African Lion Safari’s to a night at the theatre or a trip to the top of the CN tower to white water rafting in the woodland outside the city Toronto truly offers it all.

Tournament Hotel for Weekend
We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Select Hotel Mississauga. It is the best hotel Missisauga has to offer and is conveniently located right near the Mississauga business district and it is only a 30 minute drive away from the heart of downtown Toronto and Toronto Pearson International Airport!
