About The Tournament Weekend

Join us for our 3rd annual tournament in the City of Angels on Saturday October 4, for a 6v6 soccer tournament at Chaffey high School. If you are a local Los Angeles team, this is your chance to jump on the Soccer Resort train. If you’re visiting LA, Los Angeles truly has it all to do. With a bustling urban metropolis and an incredible beach line that goes on for miles you’ll never run out of things to do.
The Soccer Resort is extremely excited to have local teams join our national series of tournaments. Play, yell, compete, or shake hands against teams from all over the U.S., Canada, Europe, and overseas – after-all it’s nice to play against some new teams. And if you win a top or consolation division, you’ll win up to $1000 of credit towards one of our travel tournaments, such as Las Vegas, Costa Rica, Miami South Beach, Hawaii, Iceland, Ireland, or London.

Soccer Tournament Details
We expect a large turn out in 2008 with teams from many leagues across the United States and Canada joining us. We also expect a strong local turnout from all over California with teams from our San Francisco and San Diego tournaments earlier in the year joining us.
The location of the tournament is Chaffey High School
1245 North Euclid Avenue, Ontario, CA
On the soccer side you get:
- Four games guaranteed
- 30 minutes per game
- 12 player roster
- Soccer travel prizes galore
- Trophies for the winners and medals for the runners-up
Registration fee is $399 for Southern California teams after September 17, the price increases to $449 Traveling teams outside of South California are eligible for cheap Hotel and Tournament packages.
Early Bird closes September 17 and price increases by The absolute closing date for registration is September 30.
- There will be two Coed divisions with 3 men and 3 women on each team. You can have more women, but not more men.
- There will be five Men’s divisions – Men’s OPEN, Men’s B, Men’s Over 30’s, Men's Over 40's and Mens Masters (Over 50)
- There will be three Women’s divisions – Women’s A, Women’s B and Women’s Over 30’s.

Tournament Prizes
Soccer Resort is not only a vacation weekend - but winners, and runners-up in the top divisions and lower level consolation cups always get Soccer Resort Bucks as a prize. This is not actual money, but more like a credit or a discount on hotel and tournament packages for your next Travel tournament. We don’t pretend it's like winning the lottery, but many of our teams appreciate that we are making further trips cheaper. These prizes are for travel to most but not all tournaments. More info

What’s great about L.A. though is no matter where you are in the city you’re never all that far from the beach. California sports some of the world’s best beaches for surfers and sunbathers alike.
Los Angeles is a lot more than just a city on the beach; it is the city on the beach. It is the city of the rich and famous; actors, singers and athletes all reside there in order to be close to the entertainment capital of the world. Fortunately you don’t have to be making movie star money to enjoy Los Angeles. Go to a live filming of your favorite game show or sitcom, walk down Hollywood boulevard and reminisce about your favorite films and actors, or play the L.A. edition of Where’s Waldo and see how many celebrities you can spot.
