Since the Miami South Beach Classic of 2003, The Soccer Resort has organized competitive and recreational adult soccer tournaments from Iceland to Las Vegas, and New York, to Boston, California, Miami South Beach, Hawaii, Costa Rica San Diego, San Francisco, Dublin, London, Hawaii and many more locations.
Approximately 10,000 people play with the Soccer Resort every year, including celebrities such as the retired English Professional stars of the 1990's like George Weah, Ian Rush, Jan Molby, Bruce Grobbelaar, Mark Walters, Clayton Blackmore, as well as stars like Anthony LaPaglia, Steve Jones, and more!
Teams have joined us from the United States, Canada, Turks and Caicos, Puerto Rico, Norway, Sweden, Demark, England, Scotland, Ireland, and Japan
Our adult soccer travel weekends are for amateur adult soccer teams - with divisions for Open, Over 30, Over 40 and Masters (Men's, Women's and Coed soccer tournaments). We've been around since 2002, and you can be sure, if we didn't know how to show people a good time, we wouldn't still be here!
We are called the Soccer Resort, because we put a high emphasis on great hotels, and excellent quality soccer fields. In 2007, many of our locations are either luscious Bermuda grass or state of the art, high expense, field turf. Soccer Resort has 30 event management staff around the U.S, Canada, as well as our home-bodies in the Hoboken, NJ office.
Niall Swan, Founder, President
Niall started his work career in the USA as a young online web editor in 1994, before moving to work as an Internet strategist for a Madison Avenue marketing firm. From 1996 to 2002, during the web 1.0 years, Niall served as a Director for internet and online travel businesses in New York setting up the U.S. office of Irish technology and e-commerce companies. His roles were primarily marketing, product development, and business development. Before starting Soccer Resort, Niall was also a marketing consultant to Carlsberg for their soccer marketing initiatives in the U.S.A.
A native of Ireland, Niall came to the U.S. for the World Cup in 1994. He hails from a well-known Irish soccer family, and played his childhood soccer with Ireland's top schoolboy team Home Farm (Now Dublin F.C.).
Niall has coached women's soccer in the New York City area for a number of years, played in the Cosmopolitan League for 9 years and currently plays at Chelsea Piers and at the NY Gotham Soccer League. Niall hit his soccer peak in 2005, playing against the Liverpool, and Arsenal teams of the 1990's at the Soccer Resort celebrity tournament in Iceland.
Niall holds a BA in History and Political Science, as well as a Masters Degree in European Union policy studies from University College Dublin
Jim Bradley, Director, Soccer Operations
Jim Bradley hails from the New York City Area and was Director of Soccer at the highly successful Chelsea Piers in Manhattan for 10 years, running their adult and youth soccer programs. Chelsea Piers is the only indoor soccer league in Manhattan. Jim has also coached college soccer, and is a lifelong supporter of Newcastle, and Celtic (as well as the New York Giants, no less).
Jim was persuaded to apply his fastidious organizational skills on a national and international level with the Soccer Resort, and takes over all operational responsibilities for tournaments across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Latin America
Jon P, Operations Assistant
Jon hails from New Hampshire, and assists in website operations, and tournament operations. Prior to working with Soccer Resort, Jon worked with the Atlanta Falcons in a marketing and event management capacity. Jon is a lifelong Juventus fan, as well as a RedSox cult member.
Arianne H, Website and Marketing Assistant
Arianne hails from Rochester, NY and assists all marketing efforts as well as managing the content on the Soccer Resort website. Arianne is a graduate of Nazareth College in Rochester New York. Arianne is a lifelong Rangers hockey fan, while also supporting Manchester United for her sins.
David P, Tournament Manager
David assists Soccer Resort operations at several tournaments with his expertise in the sports, and travel industry. Originally from the United Kingdom, David has been asissting Soccer Resort since the early days. David is a lifelong Liverpool fan.
Stewart C, West Coast Operations
Stewart has been active in the U.S. coaching and soccer scene for many years, and is a native of the United Kingdom. Stewart is known for his efficient organizing and personable manner, despite the fact he is a lifelong Arsenal Fan

Anthony develops the Soccer Resort website, developing the state-of-the-art Soccer Resort reservations system that allows teams to book their travel online. Anthony is a converted sports-fan
